EUDR traceability
The EU Deforestation Regulation requires plot-level geolocation and a due-diligence statement for coffee, cocoa, soy, palm, cattle, rubber and wood; it applies to large and medium operators from December 2026.
Scope 3 data
Buyers and traders increasingly request supplier-specific (primary) data rather than sector averages, through platforms like CDP, EcoVadis or Sedex/SMETA tied to contract continuity.
SBTi FLAG targets
Customers with Forest, Land and Agriculture (FLAG) targets require a no-deforestation commitment with a 2020 cutoff and farm-level land-use data.
Measurement standards
Product carbon footprint follows ISO 14067, water footprint ISO 14046 and full LCA ISO 14040/44; using the right standard is what makes the data defensible.
